Buonacompra Salama da Sugo I.G.P. Festival

48th Edition - October 2024

The 48th Buonacompra Salama da Sugo I.G.P. Festival was held in October 2024, over two consecutive weekends: October 18-19-20 and October 25-26-27, at the municipal multipurpose hall of Buonacompra, a hamlet of Cento (Ferrara).

As tradition dictates, volunteers from the community animated the food stands, offering salama da sugo with mashed potatoes, along with tortelloni, risottos, and pies dedicated to the famous PGI Ferrara cured meat. Service included evening seatings on weekends and Sunday lunches, in a covered and heated environment. The edition confirmed the strong sense of identity between the festival and the Buonacompra community, in anticipation of the event's return in spring with the 49th edition.
