In Morano Osteria of Gualdo Tadino, the unique bruschetta festival, made with flour from the village mill
In Morano Osteria, a small hamlet of Gualdo Tadino in the province of Perugia, the Bruschetta Festival is an event that has been held for over forty years. The star is the Morano Bruschetta, unique and inimitable because it is prepared with flour from the village's stone mill, raw unfiltered oil, and garlic: simple ingredients that tell an authentic peasant tradition.
The festival takes place in a structure organized on two levels: one entirely dedicated to dining, the other to dancing and entertainment. In addition to bruschettas, the menu offers excellent first courses and abundant second courses of Umbrian cuisine. The organization is handled by the Pro Morano Tourist Association, which has kept this festival alive for decades.
Now in its 44th edition, the Bruschetta Festival of Morano Osteria is one of the longest-running gastronomic events in the area and a landmark of the Gualdo Tadino summer. For the visitor, it is an opportunity to discover an identity product of the territory and to experience the genuine conviviality of a village festival in the inner Umbria region.
