Bread Festival

The second edition of the Bread Festival was held in Orsara di Puglia from August 6 to 8, 2025, promoted by the municipal administration with the support of the Puglia Region. Three days full of events dedicated to bread and the ancient grains of the Daunia region.

• Wednesday, August 6: "The Art of Handmade Pasta" workshop at the historic straw oven; in the evening, in Largo San Michele, a classical and modern dance performance for the 25th anniversary of the Centro Studi Danza.
• Thursday, August 7: Biscuit and taralli workshop using ancient grain flours at the Monte Preisi Agriturismo, baking activities for children, and in the evening, folk music and dances with the group Voci del Sud accompanied by tastings of local products.
• Friday, August 8: Bread and pizza workshop at the 1526 oven and, in the evening, a grand finale in Largo San Michele with a "Country and Blues Cover" show and the participation of Michele Longo, a contestant from The Voice.

The event combined flavor, rural tradition, and community values, with a message of combating food waste and fostering intergenerational dialogue.
