Braciola Festival of Cittareale 2025

The 64th edition of the Braciola Festival was held in August 2025 in Cittareale, in the province of Rieti, in the picturesque mountain setting of Selvarotonda. Organized by the Cittareale Pro Loco Tourist Association, the festival renewed the appointment with charcoal-grilled mutton chops, cheeses, ricotta, and dishes from the Upper Sabina pastoral cuisine.

As per tradition, alongside the food stalls, the public was able to watch demonstrations of traditional cheese-making and purchase typical local products, from cheeses to summer truffles, honey, and spelt, amidst the music and dances of folk groups. An edition that confirmed the strong bond between the Cittareale community and its pastoral roots, in one of the most iconic events in Lazio.
