Edition 2025 — Borbera and Spinti Valleys Gastronomic Tour

The 45th edition of the Borbera and Spinti Valleys Gastronomic Tour began on Friday, April 25, 2025, with 40 food and wine events spread across spring and autumn — 15 spring stops and 25 autumn ones. As per tradition, the festival opened at Ristorante Da Bruno in San Nazzaro, Albera Ligure, with a donkey-themed menu.

The 45th edition of the Borbera and Spinti Valleys Gastronomic Tour took place starting April 25, 2025, with 40 total events — 15 in spring and 25 in autumn — held over the weekends of both seasons, from April to November.

The first appointment was held at Ristorante Da Bruno, in the hamlet of San Nazzaro (Albera Ligure), featuring a donkey-based menu: appetizers of donkey salami, tagliolini with donkey ragù, and ravioli with donkey braised sauce. Throughout the season, the valley inns offered menus dedicated to the area's typical products — from Montebore to Salame Nobile del Giarolo, from Timorasso to Fagiolana beans, as well as truffles, mushrooms, and chestnuts.
