Bombetta Festival

The second edition of the Bombetta Festival took place from August 29th to September 1st, 2025, in Piazza d'Angiò in Martina Franca, establishing itself as one of the city's summer highlights. For four evenings, the stalls, managed by butchers and industry professionals, offered the bombetta in its classic and most innovative versions, while the square came alive with music and conviviality.

Participation in the free concerts was extraordinary, with the only exception being Saturday evening, which was affected by bad weather. On Sunday, August 31st, the workshop "Traditional agri-food products: an opportunity for regional development" was held, featuring representatives from regional and municipal institutions, Slow Food, universities, and agri-food districts. During the festival, the Ninuccio Lasorte Award and the Vito Serio Award were presented to those promoting the bombetta and to masters of the grill.

• Closing concert: Terraròss (popular music)

During the event: presentation of the Ninuccio Lasorte Award and the Vito Serio Award.

The four evenings of free concerts—from Blusettanta to Mirko Casadei, from Novanta per una notte to Terraròss—and the presentation of the Ninuccio Lasorte and Vito Serio awards, with the traditional Martina Franca bombetta as the absolute protagonist.
