Bollicine Wine Fest

Third edition, December 7, 2025

The third edition of Bollicine Wine Fest was held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Villa Piccolomini, in the Aurelio district of Rome, with tasting tables open from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The event, organized by the Decanter Wine Academy Association, brought together over seventy wineries from all over Italy, joined by some French and Spanish producers.

Tastings and masterclasses

Tastings featured classic method, Martinotti method, and ancestral refermented sparkling wines, with ample space for indigenous grape varieties. At 4:00 PM, the France vs. Italy masterclass took place, led by Angelo Petracci, featuring a blind tasting comparing three Champagnes and three Italian classic method wines. The gastronomic areas offered traditional cheeses, cured meats, and fried snacks for pairing.

Tickets

Admission cost 25 euros including a glass, pouch, and a 5-euro purchase voucher; 20 euros for sommelier members with a valid card and 10 euros for accredited professionals. The masterclass was paid, with limited seating and mandatory reservation.
