About Bimbimbici Spinea
A celebration on two wheels for families
Bimbimbici is the national cycling event promoted by FIAB (Italian Federation of Environment and Bicycle) to introduce children and families to cycling and sustainable mobility. In Spinea, in the province of Venice, the event is organised by FIAB Mestre with the support of FIAB Spinea, the Civil Protection, and the Local Police.
The route through the parks
The ride covers about 10 km on cycle paths and secondary roads, crossing the parks of Spinea. A flat and safe route, designed to be easily tackled even by younger cyclists, always accompanied by an adult. The meeting point is at 9:00 AM in front of the Town Hall.
Safety and fun
The event is meticulously organised for safety: mechanical assistance along the route, escort by volunteer associations, insurance coverage included in the fee, and a recommendation to wear helmets. At the end, refreshments for participants and a souvenir gadget for the children.
A message of soft mobility
In addition to the celebration, Bimbimbici brings a clear message to Spinea: rediscover the bicycle as a safe and sustainable means of daily transport, starting with the new generations. A morning that combines light sport, environment, and socialising in the city's parks (province of Venice).
