The Bontemponi Evening — 'Between taste, folklore and solidarity' — is the event organized by the folkloristic group Bontemponi of Bottrighe, a hamlet of Adria (province of Rovigo). It is traditionally held at the 'La Salute' agriturismo, in Ca' Garzoni, at the foot of the Canalbianco.
An Evening of Tradition
The star is Polesine cuisine, accompanied by folk songs and dances, comedy sketches, and entertainment moments. The highlight is the appointment of the 'Honorary Bontemponi', an award reserved for people who have distinguished themselves through friendship and commitment to the group.
Solidarity at the Center
The event has a strong charitable purpose: the proceeds support research and assistance for genetic and tumor diseases. This is how the village festival also becomes a gesture of solidarity shared by the community of the Polesine region.
Bontemponi Evening — edition 2026
The 19th edition of 'Between taste, folklore and solidarity' took place on March 1, 2026, at the 'La Salute' agriturismo in Ca' Garzoni, in Bottrighe, with about 70 participants. An evening of Polesine cuisine, folk songs and dances, sketches, and the appointment of the Honorary Bontemponi.
