The Montalto Beer Festival

In the heart of the Apennine summer, the hamlet of Montalto in the Municipality of Montese (Province of Modena, Emilia-Romagna) hosts one of the most anticipated festivals by the local community: the Friends of Montalto Beer Festival. Organized by the village's volunteer association of the same name, it is one of those village festivals that tell the most authentic soul of the Modenese Apennines, where the tradition of the summer festival is renewed every year thanks to the free commitment of the inhabitants.

What to expect

The formula is the tried-and-tested one for mountain festivals: food stalls with local dishes, rivers of draft beer, and lots of music. The two evenings are marked by DJ sets and live bands, transforming the village square into an open-air dance floor.
