Music and testimonies for the culture of organ donation
The BeaLive Festival is much more than a concert: it is the first Italian music event dedicated to the culture of organ donation. It is held in Cantù, in the province of Como, and was born from the story of Beatrice Zaccaro, a young woman who, by donating her organs, offered a new chance to those awaiting a transplant. Conceived by Daniele Atlante and promoted by Beatrice's parents along with the BeaVive association, the festival transforms memory into commitment and hope.
The BeaLive formula combines concerts, DJ sets, and testimonies. Artists and storytelling moments alternate on stage, where families share their experiences related to donation and transplantation. In the debut edition of 2025, among others, Moreno, Studio 3, Facchinetti, Cioffi, Gridi, DJ Jad, and Wlady participated. Music thus becomes a vehicle for a powerful civic message, capable of speaking especially to young people.
The 2026 edition is enhanced by the collaboration with the Caliendo Foundation. In Cantù, the stories of Beatrice Zaccaro and little Domenico Caliendo will intertwine: Domenico's mother will be present as a special guest to share how her pain has transformed into deep civic commitment.
The BeaLive Festival is an example of how a territory, the Como Brianza region, can promote important values. Cantù, in the province of Como, hosts a unique event in the Italian landscape, combining entertainment and social responsibility.
In Cantù, the stories of Beatrice Zaccaro, who donated her organs, and little Domenico Caliendo come together: Patrizia, Domenico's mother, will be a special guest to share her commitment to this cause.
