Edition 2025 — BacalàFest
The BacalàFest 2025 was held from February 12 to April 6, confirming itself as one of the reference food and wine events of the Marche winter. The Giro Bacalà involved numerous restaurants in Fano and several provinces of the Marche, with salt cod and stockfish dishes offered at special prices, approximately €15 for salt cod and €18 for stockfish.
The opening evening, at the Alla Lanterna restaurant in Fano, hosted the 14th Professional Chefs' Challenge: seven restaurants competed with their own interpretations of salt cod. The winner was the restaurant I Due Cigni of Montecosaro, with chef Rosaria Morganti and the dish "Salt Cod, Oil, and Anchovies". The festival was promoted by the Associazione Viandanti dei Sapori, Confcommercio Marche Nord, and O.L.E.A.
