The Autumn Festival is the event that every October celebrates the arrival of the most golden season in Pandino, in the province of Cremona. Traditionally held on the third Sunday of the month, the festival spans about ten days of activities revolving around the Visconti Castle Area, the historical heart and symbol of the town.
Pandino nel Piatto: The Flavours of Tradition
The common thread of the festival is local gastronomy. With the "Pandino nel Piatto" (Pandino on a Plate) initiative, for several weeks the town's restaurants offer special menus that highlight typical Cremasco dishes. In the castle grounds and the town centre, you'll find street food stalls, local products, cheeses, polenta, and the unmissable autumn roasted chestnuts.
Exhibitions, Games, and Funfair
In addition to food, the Autumn Festival offers a packed calendar of cultural and recreational events: photographic and art exhibitions in the castle halls, guided tastings, meetings, games for children and adults—from initiatives dedicated to board games in the manor's loggia to the large funfair set up in the external arena. A program designed to engage all ages.
A Community Festival in Cremasco
Organized by the Municipality of Pandino with the Pro Loco and local associations, the Autumn Festival is one of the moments when the town comes together and tells its story, celebrating its rural and gastronomic identity. The 2026 Autumn Festival returns to Pandino with its tried-and-tested formula: the main day falls on the third Sunday of October (Sunday October 18), while the program of events is spread over about ten days. The Visconti Castle Area hosts food stalls, street food, exhibitions, and games, while the town's restaurants participate in "Pandino nel Piatto" with menus dedicated to local cuisine. The funfair enlivens the castle's external east arena.

How to get there
Pandino is in the province of Cremona, a short distance from Crema. By car, it can be reached from the network of provincial roads connecting Cremasco to Milan, Bergamo, and Lodi. The nearest train station is Crema, with local buses.
