The Mushroom and Truffle Festival, also known as Mr. Truffle and Mr. Fungus, brings a gastronomic journey dedicated to the stars of the autumn table to Sant'Angelo Lodigiano, in the province of Lodi. The event takes place at the Cupolone, in Via Forze dell'Ordine, for two weekends in October.
The menu
The gastronomic offer celebrates mushrooms and truffles: truffle risotto, truffle beef tartare, orecchiette with sausage and mushrooms, and fried porcini mushrooms are the signature dishes, along with the option to purchase fresh truffle by weight. Takeaway service is also available.
Shows and families
The evenings are enlivened by live music and shows: in past editions, tribute bands to Ligabue and Vasco Rossi have performed, alongside cabaret and the "Corte di Menelao" area with stilt walkers, fire eaters, magicians, face painting, and a hot air balloon for families.
