About Day of Agriculture

In October, Vailate celebrates the agricultural world with the Day of Agriculture: a long-standing event that brings a parade of tractors and agricultural machinery to the town, accompanied by a musical band, with blessings, an equestrian show, and local gastronomy. Organized by the association of the same name with the patronage of the Municipality of Vailate, in the province of Cremona, bordering Bergamo.

Vailate celebrates its agriculture

The Day of Agriculture is the festival that every autumn in Vailate pays homage to the rural world and the work of the fields. Vailate is a Municipality in the province of Cremona in the Crema area, bordering the province of Bergamo, and this event is one of the most rooted in its calendar: in 2023, the XVII edition was celebrated, a sign of consolidated continuity.

Tractors, band, and equestrian show

The most anticipated moment is the parade of tractors and agricultural machinery, which in the morning starts from Via Marconi accompanied by the Vailate musical band. The parade is joined by the blessing of the vehicles, the equestrian show, and local gastronomy, in a day that combines tradition, farming identity, and a town square festival.

A community festival

The Day of Agriculture is organized by the Day of Agriculture Association with the patronage of the Municipality of Vailate. It is an event that brings together farmers, families, and visitors from neighboring towns, and tells the deep connection between Vailate and its countryside, in the heart of the Crema area, in the province of Cremona.

Day of Agriculture — edition 2026

The Day of Agriculture returns to Vailate in October 2026, with the parade of tractors and agricultural machinery accompanied by the band, the blessing, the equestrian show, and local gastronomy. After the editions of previous years, the event continues its journey; the precise date will be communicated by the organizers.

For 2026, Vailate confirms the Day of Agriculture, the autumn event dedicated to the rural world.

The characteristic elements of the festival remain: the parade of tractors and agricultural machinery with the musical band, the blessing, the equestrian show, and the local gastronomy stands. The date and detailed program will be announced by the Day of Agriculture Association closer to the event.
