The Assumption Festival is the summer celebration of Vò di Brendola, a hamlet in the municipality of Brendola in the province of Vicenza. It takes place on the days around August 15th, the Assumption Day, and is one of the most cherished Ferragosto events in the Brendola area.
Six evenings of celebration
For about a week, the hamlet comes alive with live music, from disco music shows to tributes (over the years, homages to great artists like Queen have also been featured), as well as ballroom dancing with an orchestra. The food stand offers traditional dishes, while the charity raffle and numerous activities complete a program designed for all ages.
A tradition of volunteering
The festival is organized by the Gruppo Sportivo Vò, an association active since 1972, which organizes the event every year thanks to the commitment of volunteers. It is much more than a festival: it is an identity moment for the community of Vò, capable of attracting visitors from all over Brendola and its surroundings.

The 2026 edition of the Assumption Festival takes place from August 10th to 15th in Vò di Brendola, with six evenings of celebration organized by the Gruppo Sportivo Vò in the heart of summer.

How to get there
Vò is a hamlet of Brendola, in the Berici Hills in the province of Vicenza. By car, you can reach it from the A4 motorway (Montecchio Maggiore exit) continuing towards Brendola. The festival takes place in the celebration area of the hamlet.
