Concorezzo lights up for Christmas

Aspettando Natale — White Saturday is the event that officially kicks off the Christmas festivities in Concorezzo, in the Province of Monza and Brianza. Usually held on the last Saturday of November, it marks the lighting of the festive decorations and the opening of the most magical season of the year for the town in Brianza.

Market, ice rink and festive lights

The programme combines several classic Christmas elements: the craft market, the ice skating rink set up in Piazza della Pace, and the festive lights that illuminate the town centre. There are also roasted chestnuts and mulled wine offered by the Alpini, warming up the atmosphere of the opening day.

The shops take centre stage

The day is also a celebration of local commerce: with White Saturday, the shops in the town centre stay open offering special promotions, in collaboration between the Municipality of Concorezzo and the Traders' Association. A way to promote local businesses and invite citizens to enjoy the town centre during the Christmas period.

A Christmas lasting weeks

The ice rink in Piazza della Pace remains open until mid-January, extending the festive atmosphere well beyond the opening day. Aspettando Natale is therefore much more than a single event: it is the start of a whole period of initiatives that liven up Concorezzo and the Brianza region during the holidays.
