Arcole's Spring Fair
The Asparagus and Flowers Fair is the spring event of Arcole, a municipality in the Eastern Veronese area of the province of Verona. It takes place in April in the historic center of the town and celebrates Veronese asparagus along with the rebirth of nature, in a festival that attracts visitors from all over the region.
Asparagus and Local Flavors
The food and wine stands offer asparagus in many preparations, most notably asparagus risotto, accompanied by local market products. Traditional Venetian cuisine provides the backdrop for an event that promotes agriculture in the lower and eastern Veronese area.
Flowers, Animals, and Workshops
The program intertwines gastronomy and nature: an orchid exhibition, falconry and horse riding demonstrations, as well as creative workshops for children. For families, there's also a funfair and activities designed for the little ones, making the fair an event suitable for all ages.
Music and Festivities in Eastern Veronese
The days are accompanied by music from the band of Colognola ai Colli and by evenings of ballroom dancing and DJ sets. The Asparagus and Flowers Fair, organized by the Municipality of Arcole, is one of the first major village festivals of the Veronese spring and an opportunity to discover this corner of the plains between Verona and Vicenza.
Asparagus and Flowers Fair — edition 2026
The Asparagus and Flowers Fair 2026 will be held in Arcole from Friday, April 10 to Sunday, April 12. The inauguration is scheduled for the evening of Friday, April 10 at the Cultural Center, with the food and wine stand opening at 7 PM and asparagus risotto at a promotional price; the evening will be accompanied by the Colognola ai Colli band and a ballroom dancing night.
Throughout the fair, there will be a funfair, attractions for families (horse riding, falconry, creative workshops for children), and the orchid exhibition at Villa Ottolini during the weekend.
