Pyromusical shows and aerial dance in the sky of the Seven Municipalities Plateau
Every February, Asiago, the main town of the Seven Municipalities Plateau in the province of Vicenza, transforms into the setting for one of the most evocative winter events in the Veneto region: Asiago Fiocchi di Luce. For three evenings, the mountain sky lights up with choreographed fireworks, synchronized with music, poetry, and light effects.
The heart of the festival lies in the pyromusical shows, where pyrotechnics engage in a dialogue with live music and aerial dance: acrobats and performers suspended in mid-air create choreographies amidst beams of light and flashes. The event takes place in two symbolic locations: Piazza Carli, in the historic center, and the large plain of the Romeo Sartori Airport, immersed in the nature of the Plateau.
Asiago Fiocchi di Luce attracts tens of thousands of visitors each year, partly due to its timing between Valentine's Day and the Carnival period. Admission to the shows is free. Alongside the evening performances, the event offers side activities such as the "Metti a fuoco" photography contest, dedicated to enthusiasts and professionals.
Organized by the Municipality of Asiago, the festival is now a winter classic on the Plateau and an opportunity to discover the town and its mountains in the cold season, amidst snow, ski slopes, and festive atmospheres.
The 2026 edition, the XIX, had the theme "On the summit with the stars", inspired by sports and dedicated to the year of the Italian Winter Olympics. The event was spread over three evenings, from February 13 to 15, between Piazza Carli and Romeo Sartori Airport.
The aerial dance of the ResExtensa Company from Bari, directed by Elisa Barucchieri, was the protagonist, with music, poetry, and light effects providing the backdrop for the pyromusical shows.
All shows have free admission. Information: Asiago Municipality Tourism Office.
Asiago can be reached by car from the A31 Valdastico (Piovene Rocchette exit) and then via the SP349 del Costo. The shows take place in Piazza Carli (center) and at the Romeo Sartori Airport, just outside the town.
Free admission to all shows. Warm clothing and footwear suitable for snow are recommended. In case of bad weather, times may vary.
