About Apimell Seminat Buon Vivere

Every early March, Piacenza Expo lights up its three spring fairs: Apimell, a salon dedicated to beekeeping, Seminat, a showcase for floriculture and gardening, and Buon Vivere, a market for typical Italian flavours and products. A weekend that attracts over 200 exhibitors and thousands of visitors from all over Italy and abroad, featuring market exhibitions, technical conferences, practical demonstrations, guided tastings, and show cooking. A key event for enthusiasts, hobbyists, and professionals in the green and agri-food sectors.

Three fairs, one big spring event

With the arrival of March, the exhibition centre of Piacenza Expo, in Le Mose, simultaneously hosts three events that have become a classic of the Italian exhibition calendar: Apimell, Seminat, and Buon Vivere. Together, they exceed 250 exhibitors and attract a large and diverse audience of hobbyists, families, nature enthusiasts, and professional operators. The three events are held in the Municipality of Piacenza, a plain city on the Po River in the heart of Emilia-Romagna, in an easily accessible and well-served exhibition centre.

Apimell: the beekeeping salon

The technical heart of the three-day event, Apimell is one of the most important and qualified market exhibitions in Europe dedicated to products, equipment, and technologies for beekeeping. Now in its fortieth edition, it offers beehives, extractors, honey processing materials, and technological innovations in the sector, accompanied by a full program of conferences and seminars on bee farming, honey quality, and DOP and IGP products. Exhibitors and visitors come from all over Italy and many foreign countries.

Seminat: gardening and floriculture

Seminat is the showcase for greenery: rare and antique plants, seeds, flowers, bulbs, garden equipment, and products for the organic care of home cultivation. Each year, the exhibition enriches its display areas with new thematic sections dedicated to outdoor furniture and living gardens, as well as practical courses organized by local training institutions such as the Centro Formazione Tadini and the Istituto Agrario Raineri-Marcora.

Buon Vivere: the flavours of the territory

Buon Vivere completes the trio with a market of typical food and wine products: a selection of exhibitors from various Italian regions brings quality short-chain products, cured meats, cheeses, wines, preserves, and artisanal specialties to the fair. Guided tastings and show cooking accompany the visit, highlighting culinary excellence and the culture of good living.

A rich program of events

In addition to the exhibition part, the three fairs offer a substantial calendar of initiatives: over thirty technical conferences, seminars, courses, workshops, practical demonstrations, and tastings. It is an opportunity to learn, update knowledge, and discover innovations in a constantly evolving green and agri-food sector, in a family-friendly and welcoming environment.

  • Over 200 Italian and foreign exhibitors.
