Not far from the center of San Bonifacio (province of Verona), separated from the town by the Alpone stream, stands the Motta hill, dominated by the Pieve di Sant'Abbondio, a jewel of Veronese Romanesque architecture. It is here that, in the last week of August, the Ancient Festival of Sant'Abbondio at La Motta comes to life, a feast that intertwines gastronomy, music, and culture.

Every evening, the food stand offers typical Veronese traditional dishes, with an extensive and well-curated menu, while live music accompanies the outdoor dinners in a convivial atmosphere. In 2026, the Ancient Festival of Sant'Abbondio at La Motta is again expected in the last week of August, following the tradition that links it to the saint's feast day.
