Amatriciana and Carbonara Festival

2025 Edition

In March 2025, Eataly Rome Ostiense dedicated two consecutive weekends, from the 21st to the 23rd and from the 28th to the 30th, to the two great classics of Roman cuisine. The format was already well-established: side-by-side stalls, each with its own interpretation of amatriciana or carbonara, and tastings paid for with tokens worth 1.50 euros each, available at dedicated cash desks. Admission to the event was free.

Alongside the orthodox versions defended by the capital's historic trattorias, there was room for stuffed pasta and fried specialties inspired by the two dishes, featuring selected ingredients and expert chefs. Accompanying the tastings was a choice of craft beers, draft cocktails, and wines by the glass, punctuated by DJ sets that gave the event an informal atmosphere, suitable for all ages. The public success of this edition led to the event's return in March 2026.
