The Alti Berici Pro Loco Festival is the annual event organized by the Pro Loco Alti Berici, held between late June and early July at the Social Centre of San Gottardo di Zovencedo, in the Berici Hills, province of Vicenza. It is a festival deeply rooted in local identity, connected to a regional product: the "Sucolo Baruchelo" De.Co., a typical vegetable from Zovencedo recognized as a Municipal Denomination.
The food stand, open every evening from 7:00 PM, offers dishes based on Sucolo Baruchelo along with spit-roasted ribs, a true highlight of the festival. Other events surround the culinary experience: the "Memorial Andrea Barindi" football tournament, musical and dancing evenings, and a closing gala dinner with a menu dedicated to Sucolo Baruchelo, available by reservation, in collaboration with local restaurants.
