The 'Penne Nere' Festival

Alpini di Bovezzo in Festa is the annual event organized by the Gruppo Alpini di Bovezzo, a municipality at the gateway to Valle Trompia, in the province of Brescia. Like many Alpini festivals in the Brescia region, it takes place over a weekend and focuses on the values of the 'penne nere': solidarity, remembrance, attachment to the community, and love for good food.

Traditional Cuisine and Evenings with Friends

The heart of the festival is the food stand, where every evening the Alpini and volunteers prepare traditional dishes, from mountain cuisine to Brescia specialties, to be enjoyed at outdoor tables. The evenings are accompanied by live music and entertainment, in a popular festival atmosphere open to families and friends.
