Alpine Bean Festival

In February 2025, the Mottalciata Alpini Group confirmed the tradition of the Alpine Bean Festival, the winter event that brings the town together every year around the steaming pots of the Alpini. At the group's headquarters, the classic dish of beans, lard, and salami was prepared and served, following the typical recipe of the Biella region and the Piedmontese Carnival.

As in other editions, the bean feast represented much more than a simple lunch: it was an occasion for meeting and solidarity that testifies to the strong bond between the Alpini of Mottalciata and their community, in a small town in the Province of Biella, in the heart of Piedmont.
