2025 Edition
In 2025, the Ahrntaler GrauKäseTage confirmed the successful formula in the Ahrntal valley, in the province of Bolzano, combining tastings, themed menus, and visits to farm dairies dedicated to Graukäse, the Slow Food Presidium grey cheese.
The heart of the festival was the GrauKäseFest in Steinhaus, held on Saturday, September 6th, 2025, in the community hall: from 3:00 PM, there was a farmers' market, a Graukäse-based aperitif, and music, followed at 7:00 PM by a five-course experience menu entirely dedicated to the grey cheese. Throughout the event, mountain huts, inns, and restaurants in the valley offered their own Graukäse-based dishes as part of the culinary week dedicated to the signature product of the Tauferer Ahrntal.
