A festival that tells the story of the countryside

AgriCultura is the event that enlivens the hamlet of Capiate, in Olginate, Lecco province, every May. Dedicated to traditional agricultural crafts and products, the festival rediscovers the territory's rural heritage through demonstrations, workshops, and entertainment, set in the park of the former elementary school.

Crafts, animals, and entertainment

The program combines exhibitions of ancient crafts, activities with donkeys and farm animals, children's shows like circus magic, theatre performances, and guided tours of the hamlet's historic sites, such as the Corte di Sant'Ambrogio. A varied offering that combines fun and educational value, bringing adults and children closer to the peasant culture of the Lecco Brianza region.

AgriCultura is born from the commitment of Capiate's associations and volunteers, who transform the festival each year into a moment of gathering for the entire community. With free admission and a family-friendly format, the event has become a much-anticipated spring fixture in Olginate, capable of highlighting the agricultural roots of a corner of Lecco province overlooking the Adda river.
