The annual gathering of the Brescian Black Feathers

The Adunata Sezionale degli Alpini Monte Suello is the main annual gathering of the Section of the National Alpini Association, named after Monte Suello, the site of Risorgimento battles in Valle Sabbia. Every year, the event takes place in a different municipality within the section's territory; in 2026, the honor falls to Salò, in the province of Brescia.

Three days of ceremonies and community

The gathering is marked by the traditional rites of the Alpine world: the assembly of groups, the ceremony of the traveling Banner, the procession through the town streets, the flag-raising, and honors to the fallen at the monuments. Alongside the official moments, there are concerts by the fanfares and convivial gatherings that make these rallies an occasion for remembrance and friendship.

2026, the centenary year

The 2026 edition has a special significance: the Monte Suello Section celebrates its one hundred years of foundation (1926-2026). For the occasion, the presence of the national president of the ANA and a centenary concert performed by the Salò Group Fanfare are planned. An event that intertwines the history of the Brescian Alpini with that of the Lake Garda community.
