About Abano Teatro
Quality prose in the Euganean spas
Abano Teatro is the prose season that has enlivened the Teatro Marconi in Abano Terme, in the province of Padua, for decades. Organized by Arteven — the Regional Theatre Circuit of Veneto — together with the Municipality, the festival offers a programme of shows that spans different genres and languages.
A varied programme
From civic narration to comedy, from puppetry to reinterpreted great classics, the season alternates nationally renowned names with experimental proposals. Alongside the evening subscription series, there are school matinees dedicated to secondary school students.
A consolidated tradition
With over thirty years of history, Abano Teatro represents one of the most deeply rooted cultural events in the spa town, capable of attracting a loyal audience of subscribers and spectators from all over the Euganean area.
Abano Teatro — edition 2026
The 36th season of Abano Teatro continues in 2026 at the Teatro Marconi in Abano Terme with the central and final part of the prose programme, from January to April. The overall season, which began at the end of 2025, includes ten prose shows plus five school matinees for secondary schools (10:30 AM).
The 2026 programme alternates puppetry, narration, comedy, and contemporary dramaturgy, with nationally renowned performers. Performances start at 9:00 PM. Organized by Arteven with the Municipality of Abano Terme.

How to get here
The Teatro Marconi is located in Via Pio X in Abano Terme, reachable by car from the A13 motorway (Terme Euganee exit) and by bus from Padua.
Tickets and subscriptions
Subscriptions and tickets are available at the Abano Terme IAT Office; advance booking is also available on vivaticket.com. On the day of the performance, tickets are on sale at the box office from 8:00 PM. Performances start at 9:00 PM.
