About Alte Ceccato Alpini Gathering
Sixty Years of Alpini Hats in Alte Ceccato
The Alpini Group of Alte Ceccato, a hamlet of Montecchio Maggiore in the province of Vicenza, celebrates its 60th anniversary with an Interzonal Gathering that brings together Alpini members and groups from the area. It is an event that intertwines historical memory, camaraderie, and community celebration.
Three Days of Celebrations
The program unfolds over three days: it begins with a photographic projection dedicated to the Porte del Pasubio and the Papa Refuge, continues with the Holy Mass in the Church of San Paolo and a choral concert featuring two Alpini choirs, and culminates on Sunday with the gathering, the parade accompanied by the Historical Fanfare of the ANA Section of Vicenza and the Pietro Ceccato Band, the official ceremony, and the Alpini lunch.
The Photographic Exhibition
Throughout the event, a historical photographic exhibition telling the story of the Group's sixty years is displayed in the hall beneath the Church of San Paolo. Admission is free. The initiative is organized by the Alpini Group of Alte Ceccato.
Alte Ceccato Alpini Gathering — edition 2026
The 2026 Interzonal Gathering celebrates the sixtieth anniversary of the Alte Ceccato Alpini Group from May 1st to 3rd, with events held between the Church and Piazza San Paolo. Three days of projections, choral music, parades, and conviviality, with a historical photographic exhibition set up in the hall beneath the church.

Friday, May 1st
- 8:30 PM — Photographic projection "Porte del Pasubio: from the city of war to the Papa Refuge" with images by Claudio Rigon, at the Alpini Group headquarters
Saturday, May 2nd
- 7:00 PM — Holy Mass in the Church of San Paolo
- 8:30 PM — Choral concert with the Coro Aqua Ciara from Recoaro Terme and the Coro Brigata Alpina Cadore
Sunday, May 3rd
- 9:30 AM — Assembly in Via Fermi
- 10:30 AM — Parade with the Historical Fanfare of the ANA Section of Vicenza and the Pietro Ceccato Band
- 11:30 AM — Flag-raising ceremony and official speeches
- 1:00 PM — Alpini lunch
For all three days: historical photographic exhibition in the hall beneath the Church of San Paolo.
