The First of May festival in the village of Pedaso, between sea, nature, and tradition
The 1st May Sea View – Cherry County is the event with which the Municipality of Pedaso, overlooking the Adriatic in the province of Fermo, celebrates Labour Day. The event, promoted by the Pro Loco of Pedaso, takes place in the Cherry County area, a hilly zone of the village that offers a spectacular view of the sea and the surrounding countryside.
The festival is designed as a day to be enjoyed outdoors, in the heart of the Pedaso area. The programme alternates moments of conviviality, music, and entertainment with activities dedicated to families and children. Amidst unspoiled landscapes, walks, and good food, the Pedaso First of May represents one of the first festive occasions of the good season along the coast of the Marche region.
To facilitate visitors, the organisation provides free shuttle service and parking, so you can easily reach the festival area.
Pedaso is one of the smallest villages in the province of Fermo, nestled between the hills and the sea in the southern part of the Marche Riviera. Its location, at the mouth of the Aso river, makes it a popular destination for its beaches and the tranquility of its hinterland. Events like the 1st May Sea View enhance this connection between community, landscape, and popular tradition, offering residents and tourists a first taste of the Adriatic summer.
The First of May Sea View 2026 confirmed the popular formula of the Pedaso event: a widespread festival in the Cherry County area, with a view of the Adriatic Sea and immersed in the nature of the Fermo coast. The programme alternated the Holy Mass, the treasure hunt for children and young people by reservation, food stalls and musical entertainment, as well as the lottery draw in the afternoon. As always, free shuttle service and parking were available to easily reach the festival area.
Typical programme for the main day (May 1st):
The event is held in the Cherry County area in Pedaso (FM), a hilly zone of the village with a sea view.
By car: take the Pedaso exit from the A14 Adriatica motorway, then follow signs for the centre. By train: Pedaso station on the Bologna–Lecce Adriatic line. During the event, a free shuttle service and parking are available.
