The 2026 edition is particularly significant as it coincides with Radio 105's fiftieth anniversary. The Ferrara stop is divided into two distinct events: the evening of June 18th follows the classic tour format, while the evening of June 19th is entirely dedicated to the station's half-century celebration, with the participation of all the radio's historic voices.
The festival's philosophy: music for everyone
Since its first edition, the 105 Summer Festival has maintained the same philosophy: to offer the public the chance to enjoy the best current music completely free of charge. The evenings take place outdoors, on a large stage set up in the square, with a lineup alternating established artists and young talents. How to get there
By train: Ferrara station on the Bologna-Venice line, about a 20-minute walk from the historic center. By car: Ferrara Sud or Ferrara Nord exit on the A13 Bologna-Padua highway; the historic center has a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL), so it's best to use the parking lots around the historic center and continue on foot or by bike.
Tips
The event is outdoors: wear comfortable clothing and arrive early to find a good spot. There are numerous bars and restaurants in the area for dinner before the concerts.
