The Red Arrow returns to the Euganean spas
The 1000 Miglia is the famous re-enactment of the regularity race for historic cars, heir to the legendary race born in Brescia in 1927. In 2026, after nine years, the "world's most beautiful race" returns to cross the Padua territory and the Euganean spas, skirting Abano Terme, in the province of Padua.
Arrival in Padua and passage through Abano
The first stage of the 1000 Miglia 2026 concludes in Padua, in Prato della Valle, with the evening arrival of the cars. The following morning, the convoy restarts from Prato della Valle towards Abano Terme, also crossing Montegrotto, Torreglia, Galzignano and the other municipalities at the foot of the Euganean Hills.
An international event
The 2026 edition features over 400 crews from 29 nations, with cars built between the 1920s and 1950s. Among the participants are well-known figures from sport and entertainment. For Abano Terme and the spa towns, it is an opportunity to see a unique automotive heritage parade through their streets.
1000 Miglia ad Abano — edition 2026
The 1000 Miglia 2026 takes place from June 9th to 13th, starting and finishing in Brescia, with four main stages (Padua, Montecatini Terme, Rome, and Rimini). The first stage, Tuesday, June 9th, starts from Brescia and, along Lake Garda and through Vicenza, concludes in Padua, in Prato della Valle, where modern cars pass from 7:30 PM and historic cars from 8:30 PM.
On Wednesday, June 10th, the convoy restarts at 8:00 AM from Prato della Valle towards Abano Terme, crossing Montegrotto, Torreglia, Galzignano, and other municipalities in the province of Padua at the foot of the Euganean Hills, before continuing towards Montecatini Terme. The edition features over 400 crews from 29 nations.

- From 7:30 PM (modern cars) and from 8:30 PM (historic cars) — Arrival of the first stage at Prato della Valle, Padua (via Pontevigodarzere, via Reni, via Aspetti)
Wednesday, June 10th — Passage through Abano Terme
- 8:00 AM — Departure from Prato della Valle (via Cavalletto, via Paoli, via Cernaia, via Sorio, via dei Colli) towards Abano Terme
- Passage of the convoy through Abano Terme, Montegrotto, Torreglia, and Galzignano, at the foot of the Euganean Hills
- Continuation towards Ferrara, Modena, Reggio Emilia, Passo dell'Abetone, and Montecatini Terme
