The ZeroWind Romeo & Juliet Run Half Marathon is the major half marathon in Verona, Veneto, which every February brings the city to life during the Verona in Love weekend, the event dedicated to lovers. Included in the national calendar with the prestigious FIDAL Gold Label, it is one of the most popular road races in Northern Italy.
Three Ways to Experience the Run
The event offers different formats to suit athletes and families: the 21 km competitive half marathon, the relay version for teams, and the 8 km Family Run, non-competitive and open to all. The course starts from Piazzale Olimpia and concludes with an entry into the Bentegodi Stadium, passing through some of the iconic landmarks of the Scaliger city.

The 19th edition of the ZeroWind Romeo & Juliet Run Half Marathon will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2026, in Verona, at the heart of the Verona in Love weekend. With the FIDAL Gold Label certification, the event expects around 10,000 athletes and offers three formats: the 21 km competitive half marathon, the relay, and the 8 km Family Run. The start is set at Piazzale Olimpia, while the finish is at the Bentegodi Stadium.
