Edition 2025 — Zepponami Ricotta Festival
Eighth edition: three days of ricotta in Zepponami
From May 23 to 25, 2025, the village of Zepponami, in the municipality of Montefiascone (Viterbo), hosted the eighth edition of the Zepponami Ricotta Festival, organized for the Madonna del Giglio Feast.
The program brought together food stalls with ricotta-based dishes and typical Tuscia products, cheesemaking demonstration workshops open to the public, fun moments for families and children, and live music. Activities began early in the morning and continued until midnight, the time for the final spaghetti feast that closes the most attended day every year.
The edition confirmed the event's vocation: to promote a daily product like sheep's ricotta and, with it, the pastoral landscape surrounding Lake Bolsena.
