Edition 2025 — ZenziGUSTO
In 2025, ZenziGUSTO - Zenzifero Festival returned on schedule on August 18th and 19th in Quaglietta, a medieval village in the Municipality of Calabritto, in the province of Avellino, on the border between Irpinia and the Salerno area. The evenings, organized by the Pro Loco Aquae Electae presided over by Rocco Avena, began at 8:00 PM with the opening of the food stalls.
The most requested dish was once again the zenzifero ravioli, a recognized Traditional Agri-food Product of the Campania Region, prepared with the aromatic mint that grows only along the waters of the Sele Valley. Also on the menu were zenzifero cheese and liqueur, produced under the supervision of the Pro Loco.
Folk music accompanied the two days with Paranza Madonna di Bagni on August 18th and Strazzaliscio on August 19th, while visitors were able to discover the old village, the Church of Santa Maria ad Ripas, and the castle that dominates the cliff. The UNPLI Quality Festival certification and the plastic-free choice were also confirmed for 2025.
