Among the highlights is the major exhibition dedicated to comics, hosted in the city's Civic Gallery. A multidisciplinary event that intertwines culture, art, and reflection on the world of work, transforming Vittorio Veneto into a laboratory of ideas open to all.

A festival about work

Works is the festival dedicated to the theme of work that takes place in Vittorio Veneto, in the province of Treviso. The event offers a multidisciplinary program of talks, conferences, workshops, concerts, theatre performances, guided tours, markets, and exhibitions, intertwining reflection on the world of work with diverse cultural and artistic languages.

The major comics exhibition

The visual heart of the edition is the exhibition "COMICS, when comics conquered the world. Sunday Pages 1897–1950", hosted in the Vittorio Emanuele II Civic Gallery. The exhibition traces over half a century of history through more than sixty original Sunday Pages: the legendary pages from the Sunday supplements of American newspapers, where comics were born before conquering the world and shaping the collective imagination.

Widespread culture in Vittorio Veneto

The exhibition is curated by Silvano Mezzavilla, a journalist and comics historian, with the participation of leading figures in the field. Around the exhibition, the festival distributes events and initiatives in various locations throughout the city, making Vittorio Veneto a cultural reference point in the Marca Trevigiana.
