May 1st in the Corridonia Industrial Zone amidst gastronomy, music, and tradition
The Workers' Day Festival in Corridonia, Marche, is one of the most anticipated events of the May 1st long weekend in the province of Macerata. At the heart of the event is the Broad Bean, Cheese, and Porchetta Festival, which celebrated its 25th edition in 2026: three days of gastronomy, music, and tradition that animate the Industrial Zone of the Municipality of Corridonia every year, attracting thousands of visitors from all over the area.
The absolute protagonist is the table: the combination of fresh broad beans and pecorino cheese, paired with classic porchetta, tells a story of simple and genuine peasant tradition, typical of the Marche spring. The food stalls offer dedicated menus with local products; among the novelties of recent editions, there is also a stall dedicated to Adriatic fish, testifying to the province's connection with the coast.
In addition to gastronomy, the festival offers a rich entertainment program. The evenings are enlivened by live music, DJ sets, and shows for all ages: in the 2026 edition, groups like the Suonami Band performed, along with prominent guests such as the famous DJ Mauro Fargetta, as well as comedy shows, acrobatic dance, and entertainment for children. The traditional bocce ball competition, a vintage car rally, and the market fair with exhibitors, hobbyists, and local products are also featured.
The event is organized by the C.R.A.Z.I. ETS committee, a voluntary organization from Corridonia that has been animating the Industrial Zone for over twenty years with popular events under the motto 'unity is strength'. Alongside the festival, there is the art exhibition Primaver'arte and the historic Friendship Walk, signs of a festival that is simultaneously a gastronomic, cultural, and social gathering for the entire community.
