2025 Wild Boar Festival
The 2025 edition took place on Thursday, August 14, starting at 8:00 PM, in the school square on Via Mazzini in Pietramontecorvino. It was organized by the local CPA (Hunting-Fishing-Environment) chapter, chaired by Michele Iadarola.
The absolute star was the wild boar, served at the food stalls in a rich ragù for pasta and as a roast, with meat cooked slowly to enhance its flavors and aromas. There was no shortage of typical local products, folk music, and the festive atmosphere that draws so many people from the province of Foggia and beyond every year. As emphasized by the organizers, the event is also a way to promote the environment and the Monti Dauni territory.
