Volontariato in Festa is the event that each spring showcases the rich associative fabric of San Giuliano Milanese, in the Metropolitan City of Milan. For over ten days, dozens of associations from the social, environmental, cultural, sports, and health sectors animate various locations in the Municipality with a packed calendar of initiatives.

"Together and better"

The guiding theme of the event is the slogan "Together and better", which summarizes its spirit: more than just a schedule of events, Volontariato in Festa is a celebration of participation and civic engagement. The program ranges from theatre, photographic exhibitions, Science Festival, music, sports, wellness, and environmental projects.

A widespread and free program

Events are held in many locations across the territory, from Piazza della Vittoria to the Viboldone Abbey, and in neighbourhood spaces. Among the historical events included are the San Giuliano in Scena theatre review, nature walks, sports initiatives, and activities for younger audiences. All events have free admission.

A network for the territory

Promoted by the Municipality in collaboration with neighbourhood committees and associations, the event is an opportunity to discover and support local volunteering, confirming itself as one of the most significant civic and cultural appointments of the San Giuliano spring.
