Edition 2025 — Volìa Cazzata Festival
The 34th edition (XXXIV) of the Volìa Cazzata Festival was held in Martano (Lecce) from Thursday, October 16 to Sunday, October 19, 2025, under the large marquee in Largo Primo Maggio, capable of accommodating over 2,000 people.
As per tradition, the star was the volìa cazzata, the hand-crushed green olive preserved in brine, offered for free tasting along with dishes of Salento's peasant cuisine: pittule, snacks, bruschetta, cicoreddhe with fava beans, horse meat stew, boiled pork, roasts, and pasticciotti.
The four evenings, enlivened by folk music, pizzica, and entertainment bands, concluded on Sunday with the Sunday Lunch and the Balera sotto le stelle, in a festive local atmosphere.
