About Vivicittà

Vivicittà is the world's largest race: on the same day, at the same time, dozens of Italian and foreign cities start running together under a single banner, that of sport for all, inclusion, and peace. Organized by UISP, the event also arrives in Treviso with its dual nature: a competitive 10-kilometer race and a fun run open to families, schools, and enthusiasts. A spring event that fills the streets of the historic center and returns urban spaces to social life and movement.

One race, many cities, a single message

Vivicittà is one of the longest-running and most popular running events in Italy, promoted by UISP - Italian Union Sport For All. Its formula is unique: on a single spring day, dozens of cities in Italy and abroad run simultaneously, creating a single compensated national ranking, calculated taking into account the different altitude profiles of the courses.

The Treviso event

Treviso also participates in Vivicittà, bringing the event's dual nature to the streets of the historic center: on one hand, the competitive 10-kilometer race, and on the other, the fun runs of a few kilometers, open to everyone, from families to school groups. It's a way to experience sport as a moment of collective celebration and reclaiming public spaces.

Sport, inclusion, and sociality

Beyond the competitive aspect, Vivicittà has always championed social values: inclusion, accessibility, peace, and the regeneration of urban spaces through sport. The simultaneous start in all cities, announced live on national radio, makes each edition a major shared event that unites thousands of participants under the same ideal, even in the heart of the Treviso region.

Vivicittà — edition 2026

The 2026 Vivicittà is run on Sunday, April 12, simultaneously in dozens of Italian and foreign cities, including Treviso. The simultaneous start is set for 9:30 AM, with the signal given live by Rai Radio 1. Scheduled are the competitive 10 km race and fun runs open to all. The edition's theme: 'Triple Jump: Include, Regenerate, Innovate'.

The 2026 edition of Vivicittà is scheduled for Sunday, April 12, with a simultaneous start at 9:30 AM in all participating cities, and the signal given live by Rai Radio 1. The UISP event has a total of 65 appointments, with 23 competitive 10 km races and 42 fun runs.

In Treviso, as in other cities, the day offers the competitive race on the 10-kilometer course and short walks of a few kilometers, open to families and schools. The 2026 slogan, 'Triple Jump: Include, Regenerate, Innovate,' summarizes the event's values: sport as an accessible right, the regeneration of public spaces, and innovation in forms of participation.
