Models, dolls, toy trains, and soldiers: the big vintage toy gathering in Verona
The Vintage Toy Exchange, also known as the Verona Vintage Toy Show, is one of the most beloved events for Italian collectors. Twice a year, the pavilions of Veronafiere fill with stalls laden with treasures from the past: toy trains, model cars, dolls, puppets, soldiers, automatons, and toys made of tin and wood.
The event attracts around 200 exhibitors from all over Italy and is aimed not only at the most expert collectors but also at families and the curious who want to rediscover the toys of yesteryear. Among penny toys, toy theaters, valves, and rare pieces, the exchange is a market, an exhibition, and an occasion for enthusiasts to trade and meet.
The event is held in Verona, in the province of Verona (Veneto Region), twice a year (two editions annually) with free admission, confirming itself as a national reference point for vintage toy and model car collecting.
The 79th edition of the Vintage Toy Exchange took place on Sunday, February 15, 2026, in the Veronafiere pavilions. Approximately 200 exhibitors from all over Italy offered the best of toy collecting, with free admission from 10 AM to 3 PM.
Veronafiere is located at Viale del Lavoro in Verona, reachable by car from the Verona Sud exit (A4/A22) and by public transport from Verona Porta Nuova station.
Free admission, from 10 AM to 3 PM.
