In Vimercate (Province of Monza and Brianza), the In Corte section of the Vimercate Festival — the summer event series by the Municipality known as Festival Sottocasa — brings theatre and music to the scenic Cour d'Honneur of Villa Sottocasa.
The festival of associations
The unique feature of In Corte is its participatory nature: the programme is built through a call for proposals aimed at city cultural associations registered in the municipal register, active in the fields of theatre, music, dance, and performance. It is therefore the cultural life of Vimercate that takes centre stage, with a varied programme of evening performances.
The context: the Vimercate Festival
In Corte is the second stage of the Festival Sottocasa's summer calendar, which runs from late May to late August: the In Giardino section (music and wellness) in May, In Corte (theatre and music) in June and early July, and Open-Air Cinema between July and August. All events are held in the outdoor spaces of Villa Sottocasa, in the centre of Vimercate.
Sottocasa in Corte — edition 2026
The In Corte section of the Vimercate Festival (Festival Sottocasa) 2026 runs from 11 June to 5 July in the Cour d'Honneur of Villa Sottocasa. The programme, developed through a call for proposals from Vimercate's cultural associations, features theatre, music, dance, and performance events.

Festival structure

- In case of bad weather, performances will be held at the Auditorium of the Omnicomprensivo complex (via Adda 6).
