About Vimercate dei Ragazzi
A city tailored for young people
In Vimercate (Province of Monza and Brianza), for three days in June, the city dedicates itself to the younger generation with Vimercate dei Ragazzi, an international festival of theatre for children and new generations. The artistic direction is by delleAli Teatro, in collaboration with ArteVOX Teatro, Campsirago Residenza, and Teatro Invito.
Shows spread throughout the territory
The festival is a widespread celebration: shows, creative workshops, contemporary circus, street art, participatory installations, and readings animate Villa Sottocasa, Parco Gussi, the TeatrOreno in Oreno, the Civic Library, the MUST museum, and the town squares. The programme features over fifty events including theatre, dance-theatre, puppet shows, and activities for children and families.
A focus on inclusion
Among the offerings, «Tracce» stands out, an immersive work dedicated to children with neurodiversity, reflecting the festival's commitment to inclusion. A jury of young people also awards the shows, presenting the Premio Città di Vimercate (Vimercate City Award), giving prominence back to the youngest audience members.

The 10th edition of Vimercate dei Ragazzi is scheduled for June 5, 6, and 7, 2026, under the artistic direction of delleAli Teatro in collaboration with ArteVOX Teatro, Campsirago Residenza, and Teatro Invito. Three days with over fifty events including theatre, workshops, and activities for children and families, distributed throughout the city's venues.
