The historic centre becomes a party
Vigevano in Festa is the evening when city commerce comes out onto the street and transforms the heart of Vigevano into a large, widespread celebration. For the occasion, the historic centre is closed to traffic and over one hundred and forty commercial activities set up stalls and sales areas along Piazza Ducale, Piazza Sant'Ambrogio, Via Roma, Via XX Settembre, Via Cairoli, Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, and the other streets in the centre.
Music, DJ sets, and street food
From late afternoon until midnight, the city comes alive with musical entertainment of various kinds, from DJ sets to live music, and with numerous street food stalls. The initiative combines evening shopping with conviviality, enhancing the shops in the centre and the city's commercial identity.
Who is organizing
The event is promoted by the Municipality of Vigevano together with the "La Dimora Sforzesca" Urban Commerce District and Confcommercio Pavia, with the participation of the centre's merchants. It is held in Vigevano, in the province of Pavia, and represents one of the most anticipated events of the city's spring-summer season.
Vigevano in Festa — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Vigevano in Festa, the third, takes place on Saturday, June 6, from 6 PM to midnight. The historic centre is closed to traffic to host stalls and shop windows from over 140 merchants, accompanied by live music, DJ sets, and numerous street food offerings. The event is promoted by the Municipality of Vigevano with the "La Dimora Sforzesca" Urban Commerce District and Confcommercio Pavia.
