The Vespa Club Corchiano "La Forra" National Rally is the summer event that draws hundreds of fans of the historic Piaggio scooter to Corchiano, a small village in the province of Viterbo in the heart of the Tuscia region. Organized by the Vespa Club Corchiano with the support of the local municipality, the event transforms the village streets for an entire weekend into a gathering of vintage engines, vibrant colors, and shared memories.

Two days of engines and exploration

The event spans two days in July. Alongside the exhibition of the scooters and registration, the heart of the rally lies in the scenic tours that wind through the towns of the Agro Falisco—from Civita Castellana to Vignanello, Vallerano, and Fabrica di Roma—offering riders the chance to discover the rolling hills of northern Lazio on their Vespas. The event also features moments of conviviality, with stops, refreshments, and awards for participants who have traveled the furthest.

The Forre Natural Monument

The event's name pays homage to the Forre di Corchiano Natural Monument, a symbolic destination for the rally. Established by the Lazio Region in 2008, the monument spans approximately 44 hectares along the Rio Fratta and protects some of the most striking gorges in the Lower Tuscia. Carved into the tuff, these ravines preserve traces of the Faliscan people and the Etruscans: ancient "tagliate" (sunken roads), rock-cut tombs, mills, a Roman bridge, and a stretch of the Via Amerina. A natural and archaeological heritage that the rally helps to showcase.

The Vespa, an Italian icon

Created in 1946 from Enrico Piaggio's vision, the Vespa has become one of the most recognizable symbols of Italian design and the country's economic boom. The Corchiano rally celebrates this uniquely Italian passion by bringing together both vintage and modern models in an atmosphere of cross-generational camaraderie.
