The Gnocchi Festival is the gastronomic event that celebrates the tradition of handmade gnocchi in Veggiano, a municipality in the province of Padua. Organised by Pro Loco Veggiano in collaboration with the Parish of Sant'Andrea Apostolo, the festival is one of the most anticipated events of the village summer.
Many sauces, one passion
The star dish is, of course, the hand-rolled gnocchi, served with a rich choice of toppings: from duck ragù to butter and sage, and more sophisticated variations. The food stand opens in the evening and accompanies the festive evenings with the flavours of Venetian cuisine.
Music, market, and fun
Alongside the food, the Gnocchi Festival offers music and dancing, a funfair for the little ones, an artisan market, and a charity raffle. A programme designed for all ages, making this festival a meeting point for the community of Veggiano and surrounding towns.
Gnocchi Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Veggiano Gnocchi Festival, confirmed by the Pro Loco, brings back hand-rolled gnocchi with a wide choice of toppings.
In addition to the food stand, the programme includes evenings of music and dancing, a funfair for the little ones, an artisan market, and a charity raffle, in collaboration with the Parish of Sant'Andrea Apostolo.
