Valtellina arrives at the gates of Milan

The Valtellina Festival transforms Parco Nord in San Giuliano Milanese, in the metropolitan city of Milan, into a corner of the Lombardy mountains. Under a large heated marquee, with wooden benches and tables, visitors are immersed in the aromas and flavours of Valtellina without leaving the plains.

Dishes of Alpine tradition

The stars of the table are pizzoccheri, prepared with fresh buckwheat pasta and cheeses such as Casera and Bitto, respecting the recipe of the Accademia del Pizzocchero. Alongside them, sciatt (cheese fritters), taroz, bresaola, typical cheeses and Valtellina wines complete a menu that tells the gastronomic identity of the valley.

Entertainment and fun for everyone

The entertainment, curated by the Corte di Menelao format, accompanies the days with comedy, live music, musical tributes, magic, stilt walkers, fire eaters, face painting, carousels, stalls and attractions for families. A 360-degree offering that makes the festival a celebration for all ages.

With free admission, the Valtellina Festival attracts thousands of visitors every year to the heated marquee in Parco Nord, confirming itself as one of the most popular winter food and wine events in South Milan. The organisers also combine the festival with solidarity initiatives for the community.
