Music from the grassroots
Valmofestival is one of those events that show how even a small town can have a vibrant music scene. For over fifteen years, the Gruppo Giovani Valmorea has transformed the central Piazza G. da Caversaccio into an open-air stage for three evenings, featuring live bands, DJ sets, and a gastronomic offer that complements the music.
Between punk, ska, garage, and folk
The festival's programming draws from the world of alternative and independent rock: punk, ska, garage, folk, and electronic music alternate on stage over the three evenings. Bands come from various parts of Italy and mix with DJ sets that close out the nights. Food opens at 7:00 PM, concerts start around 9:00 PM; entry is free.
Valmorea and the Valle del Lanza
Valmorea is a municipality in the province of Como, in Lombardy, nestled in the Valle del Lanza on the border with Switzerland. Valmofestival is one of the most recognizable events in the local calendar and testifies to the deep roots of youth associations in the Como area.
Valmofestival — edition 2026
Valmofestival 2026 offers three days of live music from May 22 to 24 in Piazza G. da Caversaccio. The lineup alternates rock and alternative bands with DJ sets, with food service opening at 7:00 PM and concerts starting around 9:00 PM; on Sunday, lunch service is also available by reservation. Free entry.
